1. How does the Breathing Koala work?
The Koala gently simulates a slow, natural breathing rhythm. Its belly rises and falls softly, creating a calming pace. This movement acts as a grounding anchor, inspired by relaxation and breathing techniques, helping the mind slow down and the body relax. Depending on your preference, it can be used in the following modes:
- Breathing only
- Breathing + soft light
- Breathing + soft light + music
The control buttons are discreetly located on the paw for easy and intuitive use.
2. Who is the Koala designed for?
The Koala was primarily designed for adults seeking comfort during stressful moments, racing thoughts or difficulties winding down before sleep. It is also suitable for children aged 3 and over, subject to appropriate adult supervision and product safety instructions. Many parents and grandparents choose it as a comforting companion.
3. Does the Koala produce heat or noise?
No. The Koala does not produce heat. Its breathing effect comes from the gentle movement of its belly. Music is optional and can be switched off at any time.
4. Can I turn off the music or the light?
Yes, absolutely. You can choose the mode that best suits you:
- Breathing only (no light, no music)
- Breathing + light
- Breathing + light + music
Many adults prefer the breathing-only mode for a quiet, dark sleeping environment.
5. How long does the breathing cycle last?
The Koala runs on an automatic cycle of approximately 30 minutes. At the end of the cycle, it switches off automatically, even if the power switch remains on. There is no need to switch it off manually after each cycle.
6. Can it help with stress, anxiety or emotional distress?
The Koala is designed to provide a comforting and relaxing experience. Its gentle breathing rhythm may help users unwind, practise mindful breathing and create a reassuring bedtime routine.
Individual experiences may vary. The Koala is a wellness and comfort product, not a medical device, and is not intended to diagnose, treat or cure anxiety, sleep disorders or other medical conditions.

7. How can I track my order?
You can track your order using the tracking link provided in your shipping confirmation email once your parcel has been dispatched.

Please note: Delivery times are estimates and may occasionally vary during periods of high demand or due to circumstances outside our reasonable control.
8. What are the delivery times?
Our estimated delivery times across Australia are:
- Standard Delivery: 2–5 business days after dispatch
- Express Delivery: 1–2 business days after dispatch
Orders are generally processed within 1–2 business days before dispatch. Delivery times may vary depending on your location, including regional and remote areas, international fulfilment, weather conditions or carrier delays.
9. Where should I return my items?

Our team will provide return instructions and the appropriate return address.
We offer a voluntary 30-day return policy, in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. How can I modify or cancel my order?
If you wish to modify or cancel your order, please email us as soon as possible, ideally within one hour of placing it.
After this time, your order may already be processing or dispatched, and changes may not be possible.
This does not affect any cancellation or refund rights available under applicable Australian consumer law.

Standard Delivery (with tracking): AUD $4.95
Express Delivery (with tracking): AUD $8.95
We occasionally offer Free Shipping promotions during special events. Please check our website or checkout for any current offers and their conditions.
12. How long does it take to process my order?
Orders are generally processed within 1–2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking link by email.
13. Do you ship internationally?
Our Australian store currently delivers throughout Australia, including metropolitan, regional and remote areas where delivery services are available.
For delivery enquiries outside Australia, please contact contact@kalohia-australia.com before placing your order.
Depending on product availability, some Australian orders may be dispatched from international fulfilment centres.
